The Yuzawa Kogen Alpine Flower Park is the first alpine botanical garden in Niigata. The park is built on the north face of Mt. Oomine, and can be accessed from the hot springs district of Echigo Yuzawa by a seven-minute ride on a ropeway.
Approximately 1,000 varieties of alpine plants bloom in a flower garden above the clouds. Experience the changing of the seasons and the fragrance of nature.
Experience a mini trekking course through a Japanese beech forest, slide down the mountain face on a summer bobsleigh, or try mountain go-karts. There are many facilities available to help enjoy nature to the fullest.
