“Kyu-Furukawa Gardens” were completed in 1919 as the main residence of the Furukawa family, which was one of the largest financial groups.
It was preserved in condition and designated as a special place of scenic beauty in Japan under the Law for the Preservation of Cultural Assets in 2006.
